KRANGKET ISLAND AID POST

Krangket Island Island is located in the Madang Harbour close to the Headquarters of the Melanesian Foundation.  As a courtesy to the people of Krangket the Melanesian Foundation will construct a small health aid post staffed by one community health worker to provide basic health care to the 2000 plus people who live on the Island.

The project will be constructed and funded by the Melanesian Foundation and staff will be provided from the Health Division of the Provincial Government.

Work is expected to begin in early 2008
